Maoist, Masal to merge soon

KATHMANDU, Oct 11 – Two communist political parties CPN-Maoist and CPN-Unity Centre Masal are likely to merge soon.

A meeting between Prime Minister and Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Masal General Secretary Narayan Kaji Shrestha held on Saturday reached an agreement to unify the two parties.

Emerging from the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar today, Shrestha informed that the procedures for the unification process will be decided within a few days.
