Kantipur Report NEPALGUNJ, Feb 15 – Nepali Congress (NC) acting president Sushil Koirala Sunday said Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s recent address to the Maoist People’s Liberation Army (PLA) asking them to be ready for next revolution is irresponsible. The PM has raised serious concerns by announcing the Maoist cadres to get ready for another struggle against those who try to topple the government, Koirala said speaking at a press meet organised in Nepalgunj.
He criticised the Maoists for spreading violence by making issue out of nothing.
Saying that running government is far difficult than firing bullets, Koirala warned of a civil war if the current situation of peace, security and violence does not end.
He also made it clear that the NC will not try to topple the government even if the Maoists are trying to run the government unilaterally.
A stable government is needed in order to institutionalise and implement change, Koirala opined.
