The author’s book on Jharkhand will be out in July from Duke Press. Her chapter on the MCC is so-so, but basically says it’s in bed with the regime as a great Yadav-centric protection racket. Similar things have been said about the MCC in Bihar vis-a-vis Laloo Yadav and his RJD party.
