Leaves a feeling between Bollywood and the Cultural Revolution. Sadly I can’t understand the lyrics.

Is this from the film ‘Lal Salaam’, released a little while after the peace accord? I think it is, but not 100 per cent sure. Many of the lyrics of these types of songs are written by CC members and cultural front people, different versions of many of these songs have been performed, in a less bollywood and more folk (lokgeet) style. One great thing about the Nepali Maoist movement is that they can communicate in a way that the ordinary people of their country understand, which is a lot more than most left wing groups can do elsewhere.

It is a revolutionary cultural video song made by ‘Chunu-Shilpa Cultural Group, Tamuwan State Committee of UCPN(M). Chunu-Shilpa Cultural Group is formed in the names of the two great cultural martyrs of Great people’s War (Com.Chunu Tamu and Com. Shilpa Tamu).
